Everyday Reflections

Given how fast the world moves , this is an old article , which I picked up in Mumbai Mirror…At a discussion hosted by FICCI’s women cell , Chairperson Parvathy Ramaswamy was presiding over & in that session three women from Dharavi narrated rousing story on how they pawned their mangala sutras to build savouries business. These ladies received standing ovation from the 200 strong audience in that function.

It is a reflection of the fact that we have so many people who are striving to make it big and it goes beyond doubt that from nothing these women have been able to build business and as well support their families. Such causes find many more vocal voices of financial support in India in current times , which allows them to foster. It is true that every body is still not benefiting but on the other hand , it is also hearty to know that there are some who do get the required flip. I use a similar channel to support such causes , although my contribution is not large but still I am trying to make some headway to support through on-line platform of Rang De.
